(욥42:5,6) 내가 주께 대하여 귀로 듣기만 하였사오나 이제는 눈으로 주를 뵈옵나이다/ 그러므로 내가 스스로 한탄하고 티끌과 재 가운데에서 회개하나이다 My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.

(고전15:10) 그러나 나의 나 된 것은 하나님의 은혜로 된 것이니 내게 주신 그의 은혜가 헛되지 아니하여 내가 모든 사도보다 더 많이 수고하였으나 내가 아니요 오직 나와 함께하신 하나님의 은혜로라 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.

(사49:14,15) 오직 시온이 이르기를 여호와께서 나를 버리시며 주께서 나를 잊으셨다 하였거니와/ 여인이 어찌 그 젖 먹는 자식을 잊겠으며 자기 태에서 난 아들을 긍휼히 여기지 않겠느냐 그들은 혹시 잊을찌라도 나는 너를 잊지 아니할 것이라 But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, the Lord has forgotten me." "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!

(시127:1) 여호와께서 집을 세우지 아니하시면 세우는 자의 수고가 헛되며 여호와께서 성을 지키지 아니하시면 파숫군의 경성함이 허사로다 Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.

(엡2:12~13) 그 때에 너희는 그리스도 밖에 있었고 이스라엘 나라 밖의 사람이라 약속의 언약들에 대하여는 외인이요 세상에서 소망이 없고 하나님도 없는 자이더니/ 이제는 전에 멀리 있던 너희가 그리스도 예수 안에서 그리스도의 피로 가까워졌느니라 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.

(엡6:1,2) 자녀들아 주 안에서 너희 부모에게 순종하라 이것이 옳으니라/ 네 아버지와 어머니를 공경하라 이것은 약속이 있는 첫 계명이니 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother"--which is the first commandment with a promise--

(요2:5) 그 어머니가 하인들에게 이르되 너희에게 무슨 말씀을 하시든지 그대로 하라 하니라 His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."

(시24:6) 이는 여호와를 찾는 족속이요 야곱의 하나님의 얼굴을 구하는 자로다 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Selah

(요19:30) 예수께서 신 포도주를 받으신 후에 이르시되 다 이루었다 하시고 머리를 숙이니 영혼이 떠나가시니라When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

(마21:8,9) 무리의 대부분은 그 겉옷을 길에 펴며 다른 이는 나무 가지를 베어 길에 펴고/ 앞에서 가고 뒤에서 따르는 무리가 소리질러 가로되 호산나 다윗의 자손이여 찬송하리로다 주의 이름으로 오시는 이여 가장 높은 곳에서 호산나 하더라 A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Hosanna in the highest!"

(수24:27) 모든 백성에게 이르되 보라 이 돌이 우리에게 증거가 되리니 이는 여호와께서 우리에게 하신 모든 말씀을 이 돌이 들었음이니라 그런즉 너희가 너희의 하나님을 부인하지 못하도록 이 돌이 증거가 되리라 하고 "See!" he said to all the people. "This stone will be a witness against us. It has heard all the words the LORD has said to us. It will be a witness against you if you are untrue to your God."

(삿21:25) 그 때에 이스라엘에 왕이 없으므로 사람이 각기 자기의 소견에 옳은 대로 행하였더라 In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as he saw fit.
